taught my first class today. it was pretty good. the cards aren't in my favor because most of the other activities they do all day involve arts and crafts, teambuilding, running around in general. my class is kind of low key, we do posters, we do skits, we chat about our feelings. it's going to be good though once we all get to know each other.
all of my stuff is usually in the morning or late afternoon and then i'm free except when they need a lifeguard which is nice. today i lifeguarded as some of the kids were learning how to paddle a kayak up and down the river. it was refreshing. gave away one silly band today.
